For the Steak
- 1½ pounds flank steak or sirloin steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the Chimichurri
- 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano (or 2 teaspoons dried)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Salad
- 5 cups chopped romaine lettuce

- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
