Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices thick bread (Texas toast, brioche, or challah)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter for cooking

Instructions
 

  • Cut each bread slice into three or four equal sticks.
