Ingredients
  

  • 1 large head of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 egg yolk (optional for creamier dressing)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and egg yolk.
  • Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until the dressing emulsifies.
  • Add grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
  • In a large salad bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with croutons.

  • Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle extra parmesan on top and serve immediately.

Notes

For an authentic touch, use anchovy paste in the dressing for a deeper umami flavor.
