Worcestershire sauce

egg yolk (optional for creamier dressing)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and egg yolk.
Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until the dressing emulsifies.
Add grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
In a large salad bowl, toss chopped romaine lettuce with croutons.

Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well to coat evenly.
Sprinkle extra parmesan on top and serve immediately.
Notes
For an authentic touch, use anchovy paste in the dressing for a deeper umami flavor.
