Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs beef chuck, cubed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large pot. Brown beef cubes on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • Add onions and cook until golden. Stir in garlic, paprika, and caraway seeds.
  • Mix in tomato paste, cooking for 2 minutes.
  • Return beef to the pot, add broth, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
  • Add potatoes, carrots, and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables and beef are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
