  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

  • Popsicle molds
  • Popsicle sticks

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  • Add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sugar if using. Mix until fully combined.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips or crushed cookies for extra texture if desired.
  • Allow the pudding mixture to rest for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Carefully spoon or pour the pudding into popsicle molds, leaving a small space at the top.
  • Insert popsicle sticks according to the mold instructions.
  • Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until completely firm.
  • To release the pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for 15–20 seconds.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the rich, creamy texture.

Notes

  • Whole milk creates a creamier texture than low-fat milk.
  • Heavy cream helps prevent icy crystals.
  • Instant pudding works best for quick preparation.
  • Freeze overnight for the firmest consistency.
  • Silicone molds make removal much easier.
  • Chocolate, vanilla, and butterscotch all work beautifully.
  • Store in freezer-safe bags after unmolding.
  • Enjoy within two months for the best flavor.
