- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup warm water
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)

In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
