Ingredients
  

  • 1 block (8 oz / 225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup salsa (mild, medium, or hot, based on preference)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cumin (optional)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Soften the cream cheese: Let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to make mixing easier.
  • Mix ingredients: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin (if using). Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Optional cheese addition: Fold in shredded cheddar cheese for an extra cheesy dip.
  • Chill: For best flavor, refrigerate for about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with chopped cilantro or green onions and serve with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

  • Use mild salsa for a kid-friendly dip or spicy salsa for an extra kick.
  • This dip can be served warm by microwaving it for 30 seconds and stirring.
