Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz (340g) spaghetti salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
  • Prepare the Sauce:
    In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add Cream:
    Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.
  • Incorporate Cheese:
    Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Combine with Pasta:
    Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat the noodles evenly in the sauce. Use reserved pasta water to adjust the consistency if needed.
  • Serve:
    Transfer to serving plates and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For the best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Avoid pre-grated varieties, as they may not melt smoothly.
