Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into halves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter option)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with a little olive oil or butter.
  • Season the Chicken :
    Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Sear the Chicken :
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken on both sides for 3–4 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • Prepare the Creamy Sauce :
    In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer. Add Parmesan cheese to thicken the sauce.
  • Assemble the Bake:
    Place seared chicken in the baking dish. Arrange asparagus around the chicken. Pour the creamy sauce over everything. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Bake to Perfection :
    Place in the oven and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted with a golden crust.
  • Garnish & Serve :
    Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

  • Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts for a lighter option.
  • Fresh asparagus works best, but frozen can be used in a pinch.
  • Adjust cheese quantity based on how rich you want the dish.
