Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts (sliced thin)
  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest; simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  • Return chicken to the pan and add pasta. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
