Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh mango (or mango purée)
  • 2 oz (60ml) white rum, vodka, or coconut rum
  • 1 oz (30ml) coconut milk or heavy cream
  • 1/2 oz (15ml) lime juice
  • 1 oz (30ml) simple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
  • Mango slices or mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Blend the Ingredients:

  • In a blender, combine fresh mango, rum (or chosen liquor), coconut milk (or cream), lime juice, and simple syrup. Blend until smooth.

Add Ice and Blend Again:

  • Add ice cubes and blend for another 20-30 seconds until the mixture is creamy and thick.

Taste and Adjust:

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup if needed.

Serve:

  • Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish:

  • Top with whipped cream (optional) and garnish with a mango slice or mint leaves.

Notes

  • Use ripe mangoes for the best natural sweetness.
  • Coconut rum enhances the tropical flavor, but vodka or white rum works well too.
  • For a frozen version, freeze the mango chunks before blending.
