- 8 oz linguine or fettuccine
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
- 1 cup half-and-half
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Season shrimp with salt and pepper.Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
