- 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp cornmeal (for the baking sheet, optional)
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside to heat up.
Prepare the potatoes: Thinly slice the potatoes and soak them in cold water for 10 minutes. Drain and pat dry with a paper towel.
Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a thin circle or rectangle. Transfer it to a baking sheet dusted with cornmeal.
Assemble the pizza: Brush the dough with olive oil and spread the minced garlic over it. Arrange the potato slices evenly, slightly overlapping them. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, oregano, and rosemary.
Add cheese: Evenly distribute the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the potatoes.
Bake: Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the potatoes are crispy.
Serve: Let the pizza cool for a few minutes, then slice and enjoy!
