Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak:
Cut the steak into even pieces. Pat dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  • Season Well:
In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss steak bites until evenly coated.
  • Sear for Extra Flavour:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 1-2 minutes per side. This locks in juices and adds a delicious crust.
  • Add to the Crockpot:
Transfer seared steak bites to the crockpot. Pour melted butter and minced garlic over them. Stir to combine.
  • Slow Cook to Perfection:
Set the crockpot on low for 3 hours or high for 1.5 hours. Avoid overcooking to keep the meat juicy.
  • Garnish and Serve :
Sprinkle chopped parsley before serving. Pair with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • Best results come from using well-marbled cuts like ribeye or sirloin.
  • Do not skip the searing step; it adds depth of flavor.
  • Fresh parsley brightens the rich, buttery sauce.
