Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices of bread (white, brown, or multigrain)
  • ½ cup thick curd (dahi)
  • ½ cup finely chopped vegetables (cucumber, carrot, capsicum, onion)
  • tsp black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt (or as per taste)
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp butter (for toasting)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Yogurt Mix:

  • In a bowl, add thick curd (dahi).
  • Mix in chopped vegetables, black pepper powder, chaat masala, red chili flakes, salt, roasted cumin powder, coriander leaves, and lemon juice.
  • Stir well to make a creamy filling.

Assemble the Sandwich:

  • Take a slice of bread and spread a generous amount of the yogurt-vegetable mixture.
  • Cover it with another slice of bread.

Toast the Sandwich (Optional):

  • Heat a pan or tawa and spread a little butter.
  • Place the sandwich and toast for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve:

  • Cut the sandwich into halves or triangles.
  • Serve with mint chutney, ketchup, or a side salad.

Notes

  • Use hung curd for a thicker and creamier filling.
  • You can add grated cheese for extra taste.
  • If you prefer a spicy version, add finely chopped green chilies.
  • Whole wheat or multigrain bread makes it healthier.
