- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 Juice of limes
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Lime wedges, for serving
Prepare the marinade:In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Marinate the shrimp:Add shrimp to the marinade, toss to coat evenly, and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes.
Preheat the grill:Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Oil the grates if needed.
Grill the shrimp:Place shrimp on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and lightly charred.
Serve:Remove from grill, garnish with chopped cilantro and lime wedges. Serve hot with tortillas, rice, or salad.

Do not over-marinate; the lime juice can start cooking the shrimp.
