- 3 cups cooked ziti pasta
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions.Drain and set aside. Heat olive oil in a pan.Add onion and cook until soft.Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add tomato sauce.Add salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.Simmer for 5 minutes Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).Spread some sauce in a baking dish.Add pasta layer.Add ricotta cheese. Add sauce.Repeat layers.Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake 25–30 minutes.Cook until cheese melts.Remove from oven. Let cool slightly.Cut into portions.Serve warm.
