For the Filling:
- 300 g ground pork
- 1 cup finely chopped leeks (or napa cabbage)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- Salt and white pepper, to taste
For the Gyoza:
- 30 gyoza wrappers
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ¼ cup water
In a bowl, combine ground pork, leeks, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Mix until well combined and slightly sticky.
Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each gyoza wrapper.
Moisten the edges with water, fold, and pleat to seal.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Arrange gyoza flat-side down and cook until bottoms are golden.
Add water, cover, and steam for 5–6 minutes.
Remove lid and cook until water evaporates and bottoms are crisp.
Serve hot with dipping sauce.
