Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream and mayonnaise.
  • Stir in fresh dill, parsley, minced onion, garlic powder, and lemon juice.
  • Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.
  • Serve chilled with fresh vegetables, crackers, or bread.

Notes

  • Fresh dill provides the best flavour, but dried dill works well too.
  • Letting the dip chill enhances the taste and creaminess.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
