For the Cookie Dough:
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for chocolate portion)
- Pinch of salt
For the Filling:
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp milk
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to dough.
Divide dough into two parts; mix cocoa powder into one half.
Roll both doughs and layer or shape into domino-style patterns.
Chill dough for 15 minutes, then cut into rectangles.
Bake for 10–12 minutes; let cool completely.
Sandwich cookies with cream filling and decorate like domino tiles.
