- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (9 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
- ¼ cup diced tomatoes (for garnish)
- ¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)
Preheat Oven:Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the Beef:In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease. Season the Meat:Add taco seasoning and water, stirring well. Simmer for 5 minutes. Prepare the Layers:Spread refried beans in a baking dish, followed by a layer of crushed Doritos.Add cooked beef mixture, then spread salsa evenly over the top. Add Cheese:Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the layers. Bake:Bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish and Serve:Top with sour cream, green onions, tomatoes, and olives. Serve warm.
