Dorito Taco Pie is a flavorful and crispy twist on classic tacos. Layers of seasoned ground beef, cheese, and crunchy Doritos make this dish a must-try for taco lovers!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (9 oz) Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes (for garnish)
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven:
    Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the Beef:
    In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Season the Meat:
    Add taco seasoning and water, stirring well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare the Layers:
    Spread refried beans in a baking dish, followed by a layer of crushed Doritos.
    Add cooked beef mixture, then spread salsa evenly over the top.
  • Add Cheese:
    Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the layers.
  • Bake:
    Bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish and Serve:
    Top with sour cream, green onions, tomatoes, and olives. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use different Dorito flavors like Cool Ranch for a unique twist.
  • Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
