Ingredients

  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup or espresso (optional, for soaking)

For the Berry Layer:

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • ½ cup raspberries or blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

For the Chocolate Cream:

  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 200 g dark chocolate, melted and cooled
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cream Layer:

  • 1 cup whipped cream or mascarpone cream

Garnish (Optional):

  • Chocolate shavings
  • Fresh berries
  • Edible gold dust or gold leaf (Dubai-style touch)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Berries:

  • Toss berries with sugar and lemon juice. Let rest for 10 minutes to release juices.

Make Chocolate Cream:

  • Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gently fold in melted chocolate until smooth and fluffy.

Assemble the Trifle:

  • In a trifle bowl or glasses, layer chocolate cake cubes and drizzle lightly with syrup. Add a layer of berries, followed by chocolate cream and whipped cream. Repeat layers until full.

Chill:

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld. Garnish before serving.
