Ingredients
  

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Food coloring (pastel colors like pink, blue, yellow, and green)
  • 1 cup water for each color
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar for each dye cup
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10–12 minutes.
  • Transfer eggs to an ice bath and allow them to cool completely. Peel the shells carefully.
  • Cut each egg lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  • In separate cups, mix water, vinegar, and a few drops of food coloring.
  • Place egg white halves into the dye baths for 5–10 minutes until the desired color appears. Remove and let dry on paper towels.
  • Mash the egg yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Spoon or pipe the filling into the colored egg whites.
  • Sprinkle paprika or herbs on top and serve chilled.

  • Use older eggs for easier peeling.
  • Gel food coloring creates brighter colors.
