boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)

soy sauce

oyster sauce

vegetable oil

small onion (sliced)

bell pepper (sliced)

cloves garlic (minced)

freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
In a bowl, mix the chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and stir-fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic for 2 minutes.
Return the chicken to the pan and add black pepper, salt, oyster sauce, chicken broth, and sugar.
Stir well and let it cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Adjust the amount of black pepper to suit your spice preference.
