Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix the chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and stir-fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic for 2 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the pan and add black pepper, salt, oyster sauce, chicken broth, and sugar.
  • Stir well and let it cook for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Adjust the amount of black pepper to suit your spice preference.
