Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: guacamole, sour cream, salsa, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and mix well. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly softened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and mix well with the peppers and onions.
  • Serve hot with warm flour tortillas and your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • You can use boneless chicken thighs for a juicier texture.
  • Adjust spice levels according to your preference.
