- 1 shot of espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)
- 1 tbsp molasses
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Whipped cream and cinnamon (for garnish, optional)
Heat the milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling.
Mix the flavors: Whisk in the molasses, maple syrup (or brown sugar), ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined.
Brew the coffee: Prepare a shot of espresso or strong brewed coffee.
Froth the milk: Use a frother or whisk to create foam.
Assemble the latte: Pour the espresso into a mug, then add the spiced milk mixture. Stir gently.
Garnish and serve: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired. Enjoy!
