Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 shot of espresso (or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee)
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream and cinnamon (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling.
  • Mix the flavors: Whisk in the molasses, maple syrup (or brown sugar), ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined.
  • Brew the coffee: Prepare a shot of espresso or strong brewed coffee.
  • Froth the milk: Use a frother or whisk to create foam.
  • Assemble the latte: Pour the espresso into a mug, then add the spiced milk mixture. Stir gently.
  • Garnish and serve: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup or brown sugar.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, add an extra shot of espresso.
