- 2 cup elbow macaroni
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the cooked macaroni to the beef mixture and stir until fully combined.
If using, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover for a few minutes until melted.
Serve hot and enjoy!
