A quick and easy homemade Beefaroni recipe featuring tender pasta, seasoned ground beef, and a rich tomato sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add the cooked macaroni to the beef mixture and stir until fully combined.
  • If using, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover for a few minutes until melted.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Use whole wheat pasta for a healthier version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
