A simple, no-knead bread recipe with a crispy crust and soft, airy inside. Just mix, let it rise, and bake!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose or bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups (360ml) warm water

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and yeast.Add the warm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  • After the rise, preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat.
  • Lightly flour a surface and shape the dough into a ball.
  • Place the dough on parchment paper and let it rest for 30 minutes while the oven heats.
  • Carefully transfer the dough (with parchment paper) into the hot Dutch oven.
  • Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • The long rise time allows the gluten to develop naturally, resulting in a chewy texture.
  • A Dutch oven creates a steamy environment, giving the bread a crisp crust.
