- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 6 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Heat cream, milk, and half the sugar in a saucepan until warm.
Whisk egg yolks with the remaining sugar.
Slowly pour warm milk mixture into yolks while whisking.
Pour the mixture back into the saucepan.
Cook on low heat until it thickens slightly.
Cool the mixture completely.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
Freeze for 2 hours before serving.
