- 3 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons corn starch or rice starch
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon rose water (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios or almonds
- 1 tablespoon raisins (optional)
In a bowl, mix starch with ½ cup cold milk.Stir well to remove lumps.
Pour remaining milk into a pot.Add sugar and heat on medium flame.
Slowly pour starch mixture into warm milk.Stir continuously.
Cook for 8–10 minutes.Stir until thick and smooth.
Add cardamom and rose water.Mix well.
Pour into serving bowls.Let cool.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Garnish with nuts and serve cold.
