Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch or rice starch
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon rose water (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios or almonds
  • 1 tablespoon raisins (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix starch with ½ cup cold milk.Stir well to remove lumps.
  • Pour remaining milk into a pot.Add sugar and heat on medium flame.
  • Slowly pour starch mixture into warm milk.Stir continuously.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes.Stir until thick and smooth.
  • Add cardamom and rose water.Mix well.
  • Pour into serving bowls.Let cool.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Garnish with nuts and serve cold.
