Ingredients
  

  • 8 fresh figs, halved
  • 4 oz (115 g) goat cheese, brie, or blue cheese
  • 8 slices prosciutto, halved lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp honey or balsamic glaze
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
  • Cracked black pepper (optional)
  • Toothpicks or small skewers

Instructions
 

  • Wash and halve the figs gently.
  • Spread a small amount of goat or brie cheese on each fig half.
  • Wrap each fig with a strip of prosciutto and secure with a toothpick.
  • Drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze.
  • Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary.
  • Serve immediately or chill for a refreshing appetizer.
  • Optional: For a warm variation, bake at 375°F / 190°C for 5 minutes.
