Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional for heat)
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Add lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  • Mix in hot sauce if desired and stir until well combined.
  • Fold in fresh cilantro for added flavor.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  • Serve with fish tacos, grilled seafood, or as a dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a thinner sauce, add a splash of water or more lime juice.
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a healthier alternative.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
