Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter or oil.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
Place the bread in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Remove from heat and serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
Notes
For best results, use thick bread slices like brioche or challah.
