Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium green cabbage, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp.
  • Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
  • Add sliced onion to the skillet and sauté until soft and lightly caramelized.
  • Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add chopped cabbage and toss to coat in bacon fat.
  • Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using.
  • Stir in cooked bacon and splash of vinegar, then serve hot.
