Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 3 cups diced potatoes (parboiled)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • 1 can (about 1 cup) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
  • Parboil diced potatoes until slightly tender, then drain.
  • In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Add cooked chicken, potatoes, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top.
  • Combine crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs with melted butter and spread over the casserole.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
