  • 3 medium potatoes (cut into small cubes)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add the potatoes, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook for 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter.
  • Add the steak bites, season with salt and black pepper, and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
  • Reduce heat to low, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Return the steak and potatoes to the pan, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For the best results, use high-quality steak like sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon.
  • Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure a perfect sear on the steak.
