For the Steak
- 2 ribeye steaks (10–12 ounces each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Garlic Butter
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 roasted garlic bulb, squeezed
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon chopped rosemary
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting cooking time for desired doneness.
During the final minute of cooking, add a spoonful of garlic butter to the skillet and baste the steaks continuously.
Transfer steaks to a cutting board and let them rest for 10 minutes.
