Ingredients
  

  • 1 round Brie cheese (200–250 g)
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced or minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Crusty bread or crackers, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Place Brie on a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  • Make small slits on top of the Brie and insert garlic slices.
  • Drizzle with olive oil or butter and sprinkle herbs and pepper.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until soft and gooey in the center.
  • Serve immediately with bread or crackers.

Notes

  • Do not remove the rind—it helps hold the cheese together.
  • Adjust garlic quantity to taste.
  • Fresh herbs add extra aroma but are optional.
  • Serve hot for best texture.
