Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1½ cups cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder (optional for flavor boost)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Fit the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork.
  • In a skillet, sauté onions until soft and translucent.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard powder.
  • Spread diced ham and sautéed onions evenly in the pie crust.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the top, then pour the egg mixture evenly over the filling.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
