- 12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls
- 1/2 lb sliced ham (honey ham or smoked ham works best)
- 6 slices Swiss cheese (cut in half)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for sweetness)
Prepare the rolls: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally without separating them completely. Place the bottom half in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Assemble the sliders: Layer the ham evenly across the bottom half of the rolls. Add the cheese slices on top of the ham and place the top half of the rolls over the cheese. Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar (if using). Brush the glaze: Generously brush the glaze over the tops of the rolls, ensuring they are fully coated. Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Cool and serve: Let the ham delights cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
