- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow or rotini)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook onion and garlic until soft.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Mix cooked pasta into the beef mixture.
Pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
