Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil or butter
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, and seasonings. Shape into patties.
  • Heat oil in a skillet and cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onions until golden.
  • Sprinkle flour over onions, stir, and slowly add beef broth.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer until thickened.
  • Return patties to the skillet, cover with gravy, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
