Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cups sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cups pineapple chunks
  • ½ cups sliced green onions
  • ½ cups diced tomatoes
  • ½ cups sliced black olives
  • ½ cups shredded coconut
  • ½ cups slivered almonds
  • 1 cups crispy chow mein noodles

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth,
  • sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and heated through.
  • Add shredded chicken to the sauce and mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes until warmed.
  • In serving bowls or plates, place a scoop of cooked rice.
  • Spoon the creamy chicken mixture over the rice.
  • Let each person customize their Hawaiian Haystack with desired toppings.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of chicken soup with a homemade version if preferred.
