This homemade garlic bread is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with buttery garlic flavor. Perfect as a side for pasta, soups, or any meal!

- 1 loaf French or Italian bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano or parsley
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the bread loaf in half lengthwise.
In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top (if using).
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and slice into servings.
