Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • First, preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Preparing the oven in advance ensures even cooking and helps maintain the texture of the meat loaf. Line a baking tray or grease a loaf pan to prevent sticking.
  • Next, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, eggs, milk, and seasonings in a large bowl. Mix gently using your hands or a spoon. Overmixing can make the meat loaf tough, so stir only until ingredients are combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the pan. Spread ketchup evenly on top to create a flavorful glaze.
  • Bake for about one hour or until fully cooked. The safe internal temperature for ground beef is 160°F (71°C).
  • Allow the meat loaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain juices and improves texture.
