Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions
 

  • Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, oil, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
  • Remove the chicken and set aside.
  • Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce to thicken.
  • Cook on HIGH for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the cooker and coat with the thickened sauce.
  • Serve with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
