- 2 honeynut squashes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Season the Squash:
Place the squash halves cut side up on the baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, drizzle with maple syrup, and sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Honeynut squash does not require peeling as the skin becomes tender and edible when roasted.
