Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large Dutch oven or stockpot, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Add diced onions and cook for 4–5 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the meat.
  • Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Add kidney beans and black beans. Stir thoroughly.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered for 45–60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as desired. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
