Ingredients
  

  • Your favourite cake layer (sponge or cookie crust)
  • Ice cream flavour of choice
  • Whipped cream or frosting
  • Chocolate syrup or caramel drizzle
  • Fresh fruits, sprinkles, or nuts for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Cake Base
    Bake or prepare your chosen cake layer and let it cool completely. You can also use crushed cookies mixed with melted butter for a no-bake base.
  • Soften the Ice Cream
    Leave the ice cream at room temperature for 10–15 minutes. This makes it easier to spread evenly over the cake layer.
  • Layer the Dessert
    Spread a thick layer of softened ice cream over the base. Smooth the surface using a spatula for a clean finish.
  • Freeze for Stability
    Place the cake in the freezer for at least two hours. This step ensures the ice cream layer sets properly.
  • Add Toppings
    Decorate with whipped cream, syrup, fruits, or chocolate shavings. Keep it in the freezer until serving time.

Notes

  • Serve ice cream cake immediately after removing from the freezer.
  • Leftovers should be wrapped tightly and stored in the freezer to maintain freshness.
