Ingredients
  

For the Rolls:

  • 1 large cabbage (leaves separated)
  • 1 cup rice (partially cooked)
  • 300 g ground beef or pork (or a mix)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 egg (optional, for binding)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram or oregano

For the Sauce:

  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ cup broth or water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare cabbage leaves: Boil cabbage until leaves are soft and easy to separate. Set aside.
  • Prepare filling: In a bowl, combine ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, egg, and spices. Mix well.
  • Assemble rolls: Place filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, folding in the sides.
  • Add sauce: Pour a small amount of sauce into the Instant Pot.
  • Layer rolls: Arrange cabbage rolls in the pot and pour remaining sauce over them.
  • Pressure cook: Close lid and cook on HIGH pressure for 25 minutes.
  • Release pressure: Allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then quick release.
  • Serve: Carefully remove and serve warm.
